ADR EXPERIENCE & SPECIALTIES

After a brief period on the Marin County Bench, Judge Roth chose to return to the practice of law in the areas of Land Use, Environmental Law, Local Government, Contracts, Real Property, Civil Litigation (personal injury, professional negligence, construction, employment, and property damage).  He has perfected his ADR skills as an advocate, mediator, arbitrator and former Judge.

Judge Roth has been accepted to the new Appellate Mediation Program as provided by the Court of Appeal (lst Dist). This new program seeks to train selected individuals for the purpose of resolving and reducing cases on appeal.

Panelist:  ADR Program U.S. District Court, Northern District California, Alameda and Marin Superior Court ADR Panels, National Employment Mediation Services; Independent mediations and arbitrations, The Mediation Society, American Arbitration Association, Northern California Mediation Association Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (SPIDR).

Judge Roth has developed a calm approach to the subject matter at hand, diligently providing the necessary “listening skills” and the application of ADR technique to get the job done.

  • ON THE BENCH

    Judge Roth served on the Marin County Municipal Court from 1966 to 1970;   also serving as Judge Pro-Tem for the Superior Court, on assignment, during that period.   He also served as hearing officer for the Mendocino Coast District Hospital, 1992;  Petaluma Valley Hospital, 1983;  and Redbud Community Hospital, 1981.

    Hadden Roth, the attorney, is currently a sole practioner with a civil litigation practice. He represents many towns, cities, fire districts, school districts, etc.
