Mr. Litchfield has extensive expertise in construction, real estate, insurance coverage, business litigation, wrongful termination, personal injury, medical malpractice, contract disputes, sexual harassment, family law, probate & will contest, premises and product liability, maritime law, land use and municipal law. He has successfully arbitrated and mediated numerous cases including complex multi-party cases involving construction, real estate and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Litchfield draws on his expertise as a licensed General Contractor, Real Estate Broker and attorney to identify complex issues in construction and real estate cases. He has served as a court appointed Special Referee, Settlement Conference Panelist, and Judge Pro-Tem for the Marin County Superior Court on many occasions.

Mr. Litchfield is recognized for his "people skills", intelligence, creativity and perseverance in his settlement approach. He has studied extensively, logging over 150 hours of ADR training.
