ADR EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALTIES

Mr. Engel has arbitrated and mediated numerous construction, personal injury, employment, sexual discrimination, business and real estate matters. He has served as Special Master for and has extensive experience in construction litigation, including the mediation of multiple party matters concerning subcontractors, contractors, design professionals and developers. Mr. Engel is very knowledgeable and has excellent "people skills" - which he incorporates in his mediation style.

Prior to joining Resolution Remedies, Mr. Engel was a member of the American Arbitration Association panel of arbitrators for 15 years and arbitrated countless matters to conclusion during that period.

BACKGROUND

Mr. Engel is an experienced trial attorney with 25 years of experience in civil litigation, including but not limited to, construction defect, insurance defense, personal injury, business and commercial matters, real estate, employment and insurance coverage. During his years of active practice, Mr. Engel was a member of the Marin County law firm of Bianchi, Engel, Keegin & Talkington.
