3/1/11 - San Francisco Attorney Robert J. Sheppard Joins ResRem's Panel

Sheppard has been a private mediator since the early 1990s, resolving more than 700 conflicts and lawsuits, achieving a 98 percent settlement rate. He also serves as an arbitrator in binding arbitrations, including cases involving one of California's largest healthcare providers. He has acted as a Settlement Conference Judge in San Francisco Superior Court for nearly 30 years.

In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, Sheppard was named a "Super Lawyer of Northern California" for his outstanding alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and real estate law skills. He is rated "A/V" - the highest rating available for lawyers under the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating System.

Sheppard sits on the Board of Directors of The Mediation Society, a group of experienced Northern California mediators. He is also a member of Real Estate Neutrals, an organization of select mediators and arbitrators focused upon real estate disputes. He currently co-chairs the Bar Association of San Francisco's Real Estate Section.

He earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Illinois magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa
